On March 2, I attended a screening for LOVE, SIMON followed with a Q&A with actors Josh Duhamel, Jennifer Garner and Nick Robinson! The screening was at the London Hotel in West Hollywood.
The film is amazing and here is my reaction to the studio : “I think FOX nailed on this film; they were not afraid to have a gay protagonist and this will be a break point. I really enjoyed watching. The cast is amazing, Nick is charming and very likable, plus bonus with Katherine and Keiynan. Jennifer and Josh are cool together. What I like the most about is that shows the real life without stereotypes and touches with simplicity. By the way, I loved the drama teacher lines, she ROCKS!”
LOVE, SIMON will hit theaters everywhere on March 16!

About the film
Everyone deserves a great love story. But for seventeen-year old Simon Spier, played by Nick Robinson, it’s a little more complicated: he’s yet to tell his family or friends he’s gay and he doesn’t actually know the identity of the anonymous classmate he’s fallen for online. Resolving both issues proves hilarious, terrifying and life-changing.
Directed by Greg Berlanti, written by Isaac Aptaker & Elizabeth Berger, and based on Becky Albertalli’s acclaimed novel ‘Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda’, LOVE, SIMON is a funny and heartfelt coming-of-age story about the thrilling ride of finding yourself and falling in love. The film also stars Katherine Langford, Alexandra Shipp, Jorge Lendeborg Jr., Miles Heizer, Keiynan Lonsdale, Logan Miller, Jennifer Garner, Josh Duhamel and Tony Hale!
