Spanish actress Marta Milans reveals her character in SHAZAM! – EXCLUSIVE

The new super hero movie from Warner Bros Studios, SHAZAM!, based on the DC Comics comic series, is hitting theaters next Friday, April 5th. The film follows an orphan boy named Billy, played by actor Asher Angel, who turns into a superhero overnight. Billy lives in a house with other foster teenagers and Spanish actress Marta Milans, who plays Rosa Vasquez, is the foster mom of this well-diversified group.

In the film, Rosa cares deeply about the kids, which her and her husband, Victor Vasquez, care a lot because they are so different and special. As for example, Billy’s best friend, Freddy, role of the actor Jack Dylan Grazer, always gets into trouble at school; but when Billy says the magic word and turns to Shazam, everything changes.

I had the opportunity to talk with Marta during the ‘Incredible Kid Day’ event that rewarded children and teenagers who make a difference in the lives of people, those young people who carry a special superhero character within them. The event was presented by businesswoman and TV celebrity, Rosie Rivera, sister of Mexican singer Jenni Rivera, who passed away in 2012.

In the interview, Marta told me what she likes the most about her character Rosa, how was working with director David F. Sandberg, and more. This is Marta’s first superhero movie. Marta also appears in the Spanish romantic thriller series, The Pier, from Netflix. Besides English and Spanish, she speaks five more languages, and one of them is Portuguese.

Let’s check the exclusive interview in Portuguese and English with the talented Spanish actress:
