Principal photography has begun on New Line Cinema\u2019s IT\u00a0CHAPTER\u00a0TWO<\/strong> in Toronto, Canada. Director Andy Muschietti\u2019s follow-up to 2017\u2019s critically acclaimed and massive worldwide box office hit IT<\/em><\/strong>, which grossed over $700 million globally.\u00a0 Both redefining and transcending the genre, IT<\/em><\/strong> became part of the cultural zeitgeist as well as the highest-grossing horror film of all time.<\/p>\n Because every 27 years evil revisits the town of Derry, Maine, IT\u00a0CHAPTER\u00a0TWO<\/strong> brings the characters\u2014who\u2019ve long since gone their separate ways\u2014back together as adults, nearly three decades after the events of the first film.\u00a0 Bill Skarsg\u00e5rd returns in the seminal role of Pennywise.\u00a0 James McAvoy stars as Bill, Oscar nominee Jessica Chastain as Beverly, Bill Hader as Richie, Isaiah Mustafa as Mike, Jay Ryan as Ben, James Ransone as Eddie, and Andy Bean as Stanley.<\/p>\n Reprising their roles as the original members of the Losers Club are Jaeden Lieberher as Bill, Wyatt Oleff as Stanley, Sophia Lillis as Beverly, Finn Wolfhard as Richie, Jeremy Ray Taylor as Ben, Chosen Jacobs as Mike, and Jack Dylan Grazer as Eddie.<\/p>\n Muschietti directs from a screenplay by Gary Dauberman, who also wrote IT<\/em><\/strong> and Annabelle: Creation,<\/em> based on the novel by Stephen King.\u00a0 Barbara Muschietti, Dan Lin and Roy Lee are producing the film.\u00a0\u00a0Marty Ewing, Seth Grahame-Smith and David Katzenberg are the executive producers.<\/p>\n The behind-the-scenes creative team includes director of photography Checco Varese (\u201cThe 33\u201d), Oscar-winning production designer Paul D.
