The streaming services are doing a great job on premiering films and series with high quality on the production and talent. Mexican actor Mauricio Ochmann is Francisco ‘Franco’ Barrón in “R” (Erre), the new Pantaya original series, released on May 28.

Created by Joaquín Bonet e Martín Bertilotti, “R” is an action-comedy series about a man who throws caution to the wind after he’s been diagnosed with a life-threatening disease, only to find out later that he may have been misdiagnosed.

The series also stars Paulina Gaitán, Andrés Almeida, Jesús Zavala, Valeria Vera, Yuriria del Valle, Marco de la O, Ari Brickman, Renato Gutiérrez, Plutarco Haza, Guillermo Quintanilla, Gala Montes, and more.

I had the opportunity to chat, virtually, with charismatic and talented Mauricio Ochmann who told me everything about this new series.
