Legendary hit man John Wick is forced out of retirement again by a former associate plotting to seize control of a shadowy international assassins’ guild. Bound by a blood oath to help him, John travels to Rome, where he squares off against some of the world’s deadliest killers.

Disney’s BEAUTY AND THE BEAST on Digital HD and Blu-ray is available

image001Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, the live-action adaptation of the studio’s animated classic, brought the story and characters audiences know and love to spectacular life and broke box-office records. Now the stunning, cinematic event arrives home today, June 6, on Digital HD, Blu-ray™, Disney Movies Anywhere, DVD and On-Demand.

 

The fans will be able to watch the movie with three different versions: the original theatrical cut, the premiere cut with overture, and a musical experience with a sing-along version. The release invites us to get up close and personal with the filmmakers and cast to see how this beloved animated film was transformed into a new live-action classic, from the first enchanted table read to a fascinating look at how the film was brought to life utilizing lavish sets, elaborately designed costumes and props, and state-of the-art technology. A feature on the amazing women behind the enchanted tale hosted by Emma Watson; and over 10 minutes of deleted scenes along with musical extras, including the “Beauty and the Beast” music video starring Ariana Grande and John Legend, Celine Dion’s heartfelt take on the new song “How Does a Moment Last Forever,” and jump directly to all you favorite unforgettable songs.

Bambi, Disney’s fifth animation, turns 75 years

Disney’s Bambi, which celebrates its 75th anniversary this year, joins the Walt Disney Signature Collection on Blu-ray™, DVD and On-Demand on June 6. Bambi was the fifth animation produced by the Walt Disney and directed by David Hand and was released in theaters on August 13, 1942. The animated drama is based on the book called Bambi, A Life in the Woods by the Austrian author Felix Salten, and tells us the story of a young deer growing up in the forest with his mother and friends But after his mother was killed by hunters, Bambi happens to live alone in the forest.

The discs includes a variety of new bonus material, including recordings of Walt Disney discussing the challenges and triumphs during the production of “Bambi;” deleted scenes and characters; stories and effects that Bambi had on the Studio, other films and artists; and much, much more.

Additionally, the Digital HD release includes an exclusive, heartfelt feature on the incredible artist, Tyrus Wong, who inspired the film’s soft watercolor backgrounds and beautiful palette. Bambi arrived on Digital HD, Disney Movies Anywhere since May 23rd.

This collection includes groundbreaking films created or inspired by the imagination and legacy of Walt Disney, one of the great visionaries of the 20th century. This summer, Bambi will take its place in the collection alongside three other great achievements in storytelling, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Beauty and the Beast and Pinocchio.

As I mentioned, Bambi was released in 1942 during World War II and took over five years to make due to its exquisite hand-drawn artwork and attention to detail. Beloved by generations, Bambi holds the third spot on the American Film Institute’s “10 Top 10,” honoring the 10 greatest animated films of all time. The timeless tale features an adorable young deer named Bambi who explores the wonders and challenges of the woods with his playful pal Thumper, the lovable skunk Flower, and wise Friend Owl – and ultimately fulfills his destiny as prince of the forest.

The Shack ‘reveals’ on Blu-ray & DVD today

Based on the worldwide best-selling novel, with over 22 million copies in print, the inspirational story of faith and love, The Shack, arrives on Blu-ray, DVD and On Demand May 30 from Lionsgate. Starring Sam Worthington, Academy Award® winner Octavia Spencer (link to her interview to Jana On Camera), and country music superstar Tim McGraw, The Shack takes us through a father’s experience learning the ultimate truth about love, loss, and forgiveness.

Based on The New York Times best-selling novel by William P. Young, written for the screen by John Fusco and Andrew Lanham & Destin Cretton, and directed by Stuart Hazeldine, The Shack takes us on a father’s transformative spiritual journey.
