We all have a superhero inside us, it just takes a bit of magic to bring it out. In Billy’s case, by shouting out one word – SHAZAM! – this streetwise 14-year-old foster kid can turn into the adult Super Hero Shazam, played by Zachary Levi, courtesy of an ancient wizard. Still a kid at heart – inside a ripped, godlike body – Shazam revels in this adult version of himself by doing what any teen would do with superpowers: have fun with them! Can he fly? Does he have X-ray vision? Can he shoot lightning out of his hands? Can he skip his social studies test? Shazam sets out to test the limits of his abilities with the joyful recklessness of a child. But he’ll need to master these powers quickly in order to fight the deadly forces of evil controlled by Dr. Thaddeus Sivana, portrayed by Mark Strong.

Directed by David F. Sandberg, The film also stars Jack Dylan Grazer, Marta Milans, Grace Fulton, Cooper Andrews, Ian Chen, Jovan Armand, Faithe Herman, Adam Brody, and more. SHAZAM!

I had the opportunity to talk with the young actors Jovan Armand, Faithe Herman, Ian Chen e Grace Fulton during the ‘Incredible Kid Day’ event that rewarded children and teenagers who make a difference in the lives of people, those young people who carry a special superhero character within them. The event was presented by businesswoman and TV celebrity, Rosie Rivera, sister of Mexican singer Jenni Rivera, who passed away in 2012.

In the interview, the young actors told me what it was like to be part of this fun movie, the coolest scene to be filmed, what superpower they would like to have, and more.
