Based on the life of Rudy Mancuso, the Internet star and artist who also serves as the film’s director, writer and star, MÚSICA is a coming-of-age love story that follows an aspiring creator with synesthesia, who must come to terms with an uncertain future, while navigating the pressures of love, family and his Brazilian culture in Newark, New Jersey.

Synesthesia is a neurological phenomenon where the stimulation of one sense sets off the involuntary experience of another sense. For Rudy, his synesthesia allows his mind to hear sounds and organize them into different beats & rhythms.

Written and directed by Rudy Mancuso, the film stars Camila Mendes, Rudy Mancuso, Maria Mancuso, Bianca Comparato, Bia Borinn, Josanna Vaz, Francesca Reale, J.B. Smoove, and more.
